We are seeking a highly motivated, licensed Professional Electrical Engineer (PE) to lead high-level designs, oversee projects, and mentor the next generation of engineering talent.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Review: Work with/leads Team Leads and Clients to design, create modifications, and evaluation of complex electrical systems (power distribution, lighting, grounding, and low-voltage systems).
Seal & Stamp: Stamp and seal engineering drawings, calculations, and reports for commercial and industrial projects in accordance with Tennessee state regulations.
Team Leadership: Manage and review the work of junior engineers and designers.
Client & Contractor Coordination: Act as the primary technical point of contact, collaborating with architects, clients, and contractors.
Compliance: Ensure all electrical systems comply with the National Electrical Code (NEC), NFPA, and local building codes.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education: Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from an ABET-accredited institution.
Licensure: Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of Tennessee. Capable of being licensed in other states.
NCEES record preferred, but not required.
Experience: 7+ years of progressive electrical design experience in commercial, industrial, or utility projects.
Software: Proficiency in design tools like AutoCAD, Revit, Easy Power, ETAP, or SKM.
Soft Skills: Excellent technical writing, problem-solving, and project management capabilities.
